My name is Connor, I came up with the idea for this blog during the summer of 2025. I found myself visiting coffee shops all around Edinburgh, some big chains and moving on to smaller local places; being a barista and chef myself, it was good to see what other baristas and cafés were doing.
While doing this, I started to rate and review each coffee shop on the coffee, food, hospitality, and everything else I could think of. While in my third year of studying journalism, I thought I could use my skills to bring fair and reliable reviews of the capital’s best locations while sharing their stories at the same time.
